POOL WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE FROM AASLH!

In May 2023, the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) announced that the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center was selected as a 2023 Award of Excellence winner by the Leadership in History awards committee for POOL: A Social History of Segregation.

The AASLH Leadership in History Awards is the nation’s most prestigious competition for recognition of achievement in state and local history. Habithèque is thrilled that POOL continues to receive accolades for its affective, artistic approach to the exploration of social inequities.
